Netflix Error Code aip-701

On my LG smart TV, Netflix will load but not play any movies. The error display is aip-701. To correct this issue, log into Netflix on your LG TV. Attempt to play a video so that the aip-701 message appears.

On your remote press these buttons fast

A new message will appear asking if you want to disable your Netflix account. Click deactivate to reset the Netflix App.

The next screen will ask if you are a Netflix member. Pick sign in and enter your username and password.

  1. Wow I did this while the error message was up and nothing changed so then I tried to start the title again and it works!!!!!:) yay! Weird it never asked to disable or close or anything just stayed on the message until I hit okay but thank god I love to constantly try again:) perfect solution must remember forever!!!!!

  4. Thank u thank u thank u. Netflix was zero help. We were about to call LG which we feared would be a major hassle. Your instructions worked great – I assume you got them from LG to reset the internal processing which can sometimes lock up.
